O_o; Holy jeebus, the dude ate seven of EP's burnt cresentrolls.

Mishie an' me are out a few bucks now.

I've been put on charge of the christmas report! Aren't you lucky? u.u Our christmas wasn't as loud or as eventful as KidK's kids' was, but we still had a blast.

We(and I mean the kids) woke up at around, oh, nine-thrity, I suppose. Mom had to actually drag us out. Well, it was early. o_o; Asher an' I are cats and we didn't get to sleep until about 3 am with Mom! We need out 14 hours. But besides our groggyness('Cept Mishie who was all bright eyed and bushytailed and rubbing it in our faces -.O), we were able to join in on the party. The humans had their gifts, but the headfolk still need to pass ours out to our respective SO's. So, tomorrow, we'll do that. u.u They'll be late, but we'll get it done. ^.~ Just wait guys! You'll love 'em!

The most memorable thing about present-opening was that Asher was really tempted to pounce the mountian of wrapping paper like it was a big ol' pile of leaves. Oh, now he's telling me no he didn't, he wanted to romp around with the cats before Uncle Bigfan set loose his RoboRaptor. Oh, Asher wants you all to know that he thinks RoboRatpor is a gift from the heavens and funny as hell when sent on "hunt" mode with the cats in the room. 9.9; Boys. u.u

So, like KidK and her kids, we all crowded around the TV for A Christmas Story. =] Major quouting going on from our end. Even granddad got into it, even though he's the last person you'd expect to have holiday spirit. 9.9; *snrk* Granddad has such love for "NOT A FINGAH!" it's sweet. Thankfully though, he got into the spirit of the season around that time, and he's been in a good mood ever since. It IS a magical time.

Mishie and I got to use EP's karaoke machine this morning, too. 6.6 But then mom got REALLY tired and had to lie down, and didn't wake up until about 6. u.u; We kids spent the time messing around with OUR gifts, chatting and pretty much planning on how much we'd eat when dinner rolled around. Asher's still trying to wolf down six cresent rolls. >:d Mishie's got a buckazoid saying he'll do it. I got one saying he'll pass out in the pile of wrapping paper before that. Asher thinks we're insane. But he still has money on himself saying he'll actually eat seven.

And now everyone here's watching DIE HARD! XP!! Ew, action movies. Plah! Well, I guess I can hold our for... THREE HOURS until we play cranium or do karaoke again. u.u; Our christmas isn't over quite yet, but so far, it's been a blast. It REALLY has.

I hope everyone else is having the same, cos today it just really great, if you believe in the religious meanings or not. It's just a nice day that's set aside for you to spend with the people you care about and just have a good time. And we've done that. And it'll be extended because we still have presents to pass out.

The historian carefully opened the provective plastic over the withered paper, holding her breath as she did so. After months, she had finally gotten permission to enter the Victorian Manor again. The higher ups had been on her case ever since the finding, saying that they didn't need victorian romance novels and sketchbooks that were falling apart.

She told her team that time was a factor, and in the end they pulled though, finding pages that had fallen out of the very same sketchbook they had found the previous summer.

She drew back the cover and inspected the pictures. Whoever this artist was, he certianly had a vivid imagination. The hair on the historian's arms stood up as she thought of the possiblities behind this sketchbook. Who knows, these pages could be the early works of a famous painter.

That idea alone would be enough to earn a few more weeks at the manor! She pulled the plastic back over the paper. She would show this to her boss first thing in the morning.

KidK and I thought it would be a good idea to find out where our characters are actually, y'know, FROM. 8B So we dug up some maps.

Cara is from Fala, Haddington. u.u Just outside of Edinburgh. But she was actually born in Edinburgh, cos I figure the nearest hospital type thing must be in that city. 6.6 Dunno where, so don't ask. :T

Cara Black has somehow stepped out of my head and now she's hanging around my house.

Damn it, no, it's too late to try a soda. >.<
